What we look for
We look for a sound company whose founder is ready to step back.
- Region
- The company is based in Eastern Washington or the wider Inland Northwest.
- Size
- $2M to $5MIt earns this much EBITDA a year.
- Field
- It works in the trades or in industrial work.
- Owner
- The founder wants to hand the company to someone who will look after it and its people.
- Health
- The business already works. We do not buy turnarounds.
How we structure
We use
- Equity partners
- Seller notes
- Earnouts
We do not use
- SBA debt
- Personal guarantees
We raise equity from partners deal by deal. Sellers often carry part of the price as a seller note or an earnout, so they share in what the company earns after close.
The owner decides how long to stay involved; some stay on for a year or two, while others step away at closing.
We buy to hold.
We find a strong CEO to run each company day to day, and Dale chairs the board. The CEO and the board work from a clear operating system and a written value creation plan.
No fund clock pushes us to sell, so we can make choices that pay off over many years.

Start a conversation.
If you own a company and have started to think about what comes next, write to us. Talks with owners stay private.
Bankers and brokers can send teasers to the same address. Capital partners who back independent sponsors are welcome to get in touch as well.
